Erasmus projekt - A fény/Erasmus project - The light

Szeptember elején meghirdették a projektet a természettudományos tárgyak tanárai, kiderült, hogy a fényről fog szólni a projekt, mivel 2015 a fény éve.

A programok mérési pontossága jelentősen eltért, mely a későbbiekben a grafikonokon is vissza fog köszönni. Ebben megközelítőleg 25 diák vehetett részt.

December 15.

The project had been announced by the teachers of natural scientific subjects in September and it shortly turned out to be about the light since 2015 is the year of light. Measures, experiments and researches would take place linked to the light, and we were wondering about how the technique of the 21st century, like computers, smartphones or tablets could be used in purpose of the project. According to the teachers excursions, scientific performances as well as different researches would be organized in that topic in which we can get some further useful information about light. What is more, the most exciting part of the project is that some people will have the opportunity to travel abroad where they can meet with other students from different nations, get to know them and last but not least they can perform their observations and accomplishments of researches in English as well.

Lectures were held in line with the topic on 20th October by
Geography, Biology, Chemistry and Physics teachers from our school, followed by Power Point presentations full of meat. Nearly 40 students attended the lectures which proved to be pretty interesting and useful.

Light metering abilities of smartphones and tablets were tested on 17th November. Punctuality of measurement of the applications differed significantly which is going to throw back in our diagrams in the future. Approximately 25 students were involved in this.

From the 15th till the 17th of December, our school organized an international meeting for the countries involved in the project, where only teachers got invited from the other countries.

In the end of January, the official light meter finally arrived to our school. We mastered its usage and compared the meter’s precision with the previously downloaded applications’ punctuality. Results showed some similar points, while in other cases, some conspicuous differences could be found.

We did not have to wait long to use our new skills in practice, we started the measurements in the beginning February.

In the previous days, it turned out that me and David Gyaraki are the students, who are going to France this summer within the framework of the project. It was a huge honor for us, so we started the work immediately.
